Why This Matters Now

AI skill is becoming a workforce essential. Access to the teaching is anything but equal.

The AI revolution has a front row — and a whole lot of people watching from the parking lot. Career changers rebuilding after an industry shifted. Job seekers facing postings that suddenly ask for AI familiarity. Working people whose employers assume somebody else taught them. These are exactly the people Dawn builds for — because right now, the teaching is going to the people who need it least.

The Workshop

Plain language. Real skills. Same day.

Dawn's workshops start where participants actually are — including the very first question: "What is this, really?" From there, every session builds to skills people use immediately.

Understand AI

What it is, what it does well, and where it fits in daily life and work — jargon left at the door.

Use It on What Matters

Job searches, resumes, cover letters, workplace tasks, small business needs — worked through live, in the room.

Check Before Trusting

The Trust It, Test It, or Toss It habit — so participants stay in charge of what AI tells them.

Protect Themselves

Privacy, personal information, and spotting AI-powered scams — the safety skills nobody else is teaching.

And every session honors what participants already bring: work experience, life experience, and judgment.

AI amplifies what people already know — and everybody knows something.

Who's in the Room

A teacher trained in people first.

Dawn holds a Master's in Human Services Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology — a background built for exactly this work: understanding people, respecting where they're starting from, and teaching in a way that sticks. She is also a Certified AI Consultant with a 31-year corporate career, so the skills she teaches are the ones employers are asking for right now. In her sessions, honest questions are welcome and nobody gets talked down to.

For Your Program

A partner your program can count on.

Sessions fit your format and your funding: single workshops, multi-week series, train-the-staff programs, and community events — on-site or virtual. Dawn works with workforce development programs, libraries, community organizations, and reentry and transition programs, and delivers what funders and boards want to see: participants with demonstrable, same-day skills and the confidence to keep building them. Your organization sponsors the room. Dawn makes sure everyone in it leaves with something they can use.

The future of work should have everybody in it.

Let's teach your community forward.
